There is a Kuwat-ul-Islam salt mosque near the tower, this mosque was built by Aibak and it is also known as Qutub Aibak's first building.

Khilji had thought of making this tower twice as high as the Qutub Minar, but before that Khilji died and the work of this tower came to a standstill and you will see the same way even today. There is also Iltutmish's tomb located nearby, which was built by the emperor. And it was one of the tombs of Delhi. Nearby is the Jamali Kamali Masjid and also the tomb of a Sufi saint, it is a three-day dance and concert in the months of November-December where crowds gather in great intensity.
